Educating Our Kids Around The Dinner Table

Hi everyone!  Doug and I love to make education fun with our grandkids.  Most nights we have dinner together sitting around the table.  Whether we have pizza or a roast dinner, we always try to sit down together. 

One fun thing we started when our grandkids came to live with us, is what we call question night at the dinner table!

We take turns asking a question and everyone tries to answer it.  We always have lots of fun finding the answer to the question.  We usually have google at the dinner table because we do not always know the answer! 

Connecting with our kids is a foundation for building up leaders.  This is a fun way to get your kids interested in learning and growing together with the family. 

When we make learning fun then it becomes fun to learn.

Asking questions helps us to think and dream, it opens different ways to be inspired.  Our grandkids have come to the table with “wow” questions, and tuff ones too!  That is why we have our phones available to ask google! Ha! Most importantly, having family fun together will build up self-esteem and develop good communication skills. 

We are building leaders when we take the time to find ways to inspire our kids.
