Dreams Do Come True

Hi everyone!  I am looking forward to writing my first blog!  I sure would appreciate all your feedback so I may impact your life and continue my own personal growth as we grow together!  Please check out my face book page Sandee’s Inspirational Leadership!

I have been a counselor for 20 plus years, check out my face book page Mariposa Ministries.  I am also a speaker, writer, mentor, and coach.  My heart is to restore people healing one family at a time.  My specialty is bridging gaps in relationships, whether that is spouses, significant other, or parents and their children. 

Helping people to understand why they do the things they do and become more aware of decisions they make is also my heart. My husband, family and my community are the loves of my life!  I have been married to my amazing husband 17 years, we have 5 adult children, and 4 beautiful grandkids!  We are truly blessed in family, work, and having fun!

I have found through my life that there are “automatic beliefs” I carry in my heart, soul and mind.  One of those beliefs is I assumed that as I grew in age I would grow emotionally and spirituality!  John Maxwell calls that the “Assumption Gap”.  It simply is not true. 

To personally grow you have to have a growth plan to grow and have a good understanding of who we are and where we are going.  Carl Young says, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”  We do not have to settle for the cards we are dealt, in fact, did you know you can throw the cards in the middle of the table and ask for a new hand?  That’s right! 

You are the leader of your life, you can change the direction in the area we call fate!  Our unconscious affects our lives “from the shadows” they pull us into situations and they attract certain people to our lives.  It might seem like events are happening to us from the outside, but we are the actual attractors! 

The more we become conscious of what is in our unconscious the less we are subject to the affects of what lies in the shadows of consciousness.

Yes, we can direct our paths and change our course no matter what phase or age we are at in our lives.  I hope you will let me take you on a journey of change to lead you to the dreams that has always lived inside of you. 

Dreams do come true!  Changing your thinking and becoming aware of your unconscious will lead you in a direction of your heart.  I look forward to our next time together and we walk this new journey together.
